Places To Watch NYC's 4th of July Fireworks
Four barges of fireworks in the Hudson River NYC's 4th of July celebration, starting at 9:20 PM.
Battery Park, Battery Park City, all piers along the Hudson River, and Hudson River Park will be CLOSED.
FREE VIEWING AREA ON 12th AVENUE
NYPD security is tight, so don't bring any coolers, backpacks, lawn chairs or blankets.
If you want to get a seat, arrive well before sundown.

50th st, 52nd st, 54th st, 56th st, 57th st
RIVERSIDE PARK SOUTH/FREE
Locations north of 59th Street have limited views, but Riverside Park South is good
if you get there early enough.
In previous years, the NYPD has stopped allowing new visitors after 4 p.m.
