인천발 밴쿠버행 에어캐나다 지연으로
계획에 없던 밴쿠버 7시간 레이오버가 생겼어요.
한국 들어오기 전에 네이버 검색해보니 에어캐나다는 캐나다 법에 따라 비행기 지연 시간대별로
현금으로 보상해야 한다는 규정이 있나보더라고요.
그래서 일단 아래 링크에 입력칸에 입력하는 형태로 클레임 신청을 했습니다.

신청하고 며칠 지나니까 메일로 아래와 같이 답변이 오더라고요.
For all other flight dates starting December 15, 2019
The compensation amount based on the length of delay is:
$400.00 for delays of three hours or more but less than six hours.
$700.00 for delays of six hours or more but less than nine hours.
$1000.00 for delays of more than nine hours.
You are entitled to a compensation in the amount of CAD 700.00.
그래서 결론은 캐나다 달러 700불을 환불받았습니다.
씨티은행에서 환전처리가 되서 원화로 받았어요.
